Christmas Joy!

 

I finished several aprons this past week, thought I would like them up to the  By Your Hands Blog Party which is a great place to list handcrafted items for sale.

This adorable gingerbread men apron is spoken for, but I have more fabric and can do a custom order!

I also finished this Doggie apron, it is also spoken for but will be looking to purchase more fabric so let me know if you are interested in one!

 

Maxine is also spoken for, but can make more also..just say the word!

Just finished this apron, it’s a beautiful red print with the accent in gold leaves, and stunning gold rick rack..Will sell fast!  Price is $24.95 shipping TBA..

I was so blessed to receive this fabric as a gift from my friend Parsley at http://seasonsofmymind.blogspot.com/.  She sent it to me to fashion a special apron to sell..She also sent me the cutest doggy fabric to make her an apron

On a roll..

Yes, I am..I have been sewing pretty much every day since the new machine arrived..it is sooo nice, I’m kinda glad mine and my mom’s machines broke, lol.

I sewed this apron for my friend Anne who lives in Colorado, she is in an apron swap and not a seamstress, or at least that is what she thinks, so I said send me the fabric and I will whip it up for you.  Here is the final product:

AND, this is not a Christmas apron, but I have had this fabric for a month or so and I HAD to finish it..

And…this fabric is for my dear friend Shelly’s custom apron, it just arrived on Saturday from one  of my fave quilting shops Strawberry Patches in Bakersfield..I have never been to this awesome shop but my blog friend Suzanne is the owner and she carries so many fabrics and is a master quilter..Her fabrics are divine!

I just finished this Christmas style apron last night..

What do you think?  I love the more modern look to it!  I am going to be concentrating now on Thanksgiving and Christmas style aprons.  I was wondering if there might be any interest in a Hanukkah themed apron??  If so let me know so I can look for some awesome fabric!

Good News!

I got some very good news yesterday, after some very bad news on Thursday…first we found out that my mom’s sewing machine is also toast.  Gone.  Kaput.  the good news is that my sweet mom found a Brother machine on Amazon and ordered it for herself and I can use it until I can buy my dream machine..

It’s a Brother CS6000i and looks like this

this machine has lots of decorative stitches and says its also good for quilting..I am hoping it will arrive soon, I have five aprons all cut out ready to sew..
